Parents Committee
Beyond the Pool Deck: Building a connected, supportive community for our athletes, families, and coaches.

Supporting the Next Evolution of NSWP
At North Shore Water Polo, the community we build outside the pool is just as important as the skills our athletes develop inside it. The NSWP Parents Committee is a dedicated group of volunteers working alongside our coaches and staff to cultivate a vibrant, welcoming, and connected club culture.
From coordinating team logistics to organizing social events, this committee ensures that every family feels connected, supported, and valued as part of the NSWP village.
CURRENT INITIATIVES

ATHLETE & PARENT SOCIALS
Building community off the pool deck. We organize regular social events for athletes across all programs to foster a tight-knit team family, alongside casual mixers for parents to connect and meet fellow club families.

TEAM MEALS & HOSPITALITY
Keeping our athletes fueled and feeling welcome. The committee plans and coordinates team meals to keep players energized during big tournament weekends and training, while ensuring new families get a warm welcome to the club.

FUNDRAISING & TOURNAMENT SUPPORT
Making elite opportunities accessible. We spearhead fundraising initiatives to help lower tournament and travel costs for our families, while providing hands-on volunteer support whenever we host local scrimmages and events.
Every Athlete Has a Lane. Every Parent Has a Role.
A strong club relies on its community. Whether you have an hour a week to help answer questions, want to lead the planning for our next social event, or want to help coordinate the end-of-season party, we would love to have you on board. No prior experience with water polo is required—just a desire to support our kids.
